What is ALEF research all about?
Knowledge is Power
Advanced Living Environments Farm Research Corporation is an open source research non-profit concerned with developing and providing the knowledge base to teach people to source their own food (organic or otherwise), water and energy, using automation and eco-friendly cost effective technologies.
Self Sufficiency is Security
We want to source as much of our own organic food as we can, to the level that we can give to others. We want to source our own electricity and clean fresh water. We want to create as close to zero emissions as we can. We want to re-purpose and recycle our waste. All of this, while still being able to lead normal lives. Effectively using technology, we want to teach how to easily and cost effectively automate these tasks.
The Answer to the Questions
The Answer to the Question is within all of us.
Through building an open source community, we want to share this with everyone with the hope that their involvement will bring out even better ideas and versions. We want to bring together people from different trades and places around the world into an online community dedicated to spreading the knowledge of sustainable food and energy production for everyone.
Current Project
ARC is currently actively looking at small acreage property to setup The Farm. We are currently looking at a variety of location for properties that are 2 - 40 acres.
