Cut wood to size

Cut the six 2x12s in half  to create twelve 4 foot segments.

Cut the 2 2x6s in half to create four 4 foot pieces.

Measure your waist height.  Cut the 2x4s into eight legs. if the land you are working on is not level, you can change the dimensions of the legs to allow the raised bed to be level with the ground. If you are working with uneven ground skip the part that is called "Install Sleds". You don't want to have sleds if you have uneven ground.

Below is an image of the 4x4 unit assembled but without the floor so you can see the joists.

Hang floor joists

You will need to three of the 2x6s you cut earlier as floor joists. Space out and attach 3 of the face mount joist hangers spaced 1 foot apart on each side and install the joists.

Install Sleds

Sleds should only be used on even ground. Prep the remaining two of  the 2x6x8' pieces by cutting from each end diagonally to create an upturned edge to emulate a ski.   Flip the planter box over and attach the  sleds with screws to the 4 leg assemblies. Now flip the planter box right side up and onto the legs.

Laydown flooring

Move the Planter box into position. Laydown the remaining four 2x12x4' as flooring. You are now ready to starting filling the box!
